Laptop Checkout

Laptop checkout is a program available to students through the Weber State Computer Labs. Students can check out a laptop computer for single-day use, one week, or one-semester block.

Check out a laptop at one of our computer labs located in:

  • Shepherd Union
  • Davis Information Commons

Laptop Details

  • Currently, our laptop checkout computer models are Dell Latitudes and Lenovo ThinkPads, both updated with new software and Windows 10. Windows 11 is only on our Lenovo ThinkPads
  • All computers have full wireless Internet access through 91¶ÌÊÓƵ's secure Wifi, eduroam, as well as Microsoft Office, Adobe, SPSS, and more.

How to check out a laptop

→Computer Lab:

  1. Electronically sign the Equipment Checkout Contract (below)
  2. Go to any of the computer labs listed above, with two forms of ID and your W number
  3. The lab assistant will take care of the rest!

NOTE: Remember to return the computer to the lab you checked it out from.

→Stewart Library:

The Library offers checkouts for students including laptops, web cameras, and wifi hotspots.
