Weber State’s paramedic studies degree provides you with the lifesaving skills and practical experience to serve the medical needs of your community as an emergency responder.

Paramedic Studies Highlights

Our program offers an interdisciplinary education with a time-tested formula of lectures, skill labs, clinical and field internships. State-of-the-art equipment, including an ambulance similator, high-fidelity mannequins and simulation lab, gives you the opportunity to practice emergency response skills in a real-world environment, then review and learn from your experience.

The Paramedic Program at Weber State was the first accredited program in the state of Utah. 

Beyond the Classroom

As a paramedic studies major, you’ll complete a field internship with a paramedic fire or EMS agency.
