Christopher W. Hoagstrom, Ph.D.

Hello and welcome!

My role in the Department of Zoology is to be an aquatic ecologist and vertebrate biologist.

I teach Principles of Zoology labs and lectures and am lead for the upper-level courses Aquatic Ecology, Conservation Biology, Ichthyology, and Zoogeography.

My research interests involve fish ecology, conservation, and biogeography with emphasis on how fish-assemblage composition relates to environmental conditions and histories.

I am also a Zoology advisor for students declaring a Zoology major.  Please do not hesitate to contact me with any advising questions.
