The Office of 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Advisement is a fundamental resource as you complete your 91¶ÌÊÓƵ health professions program. Meeting with any of our excellent advisors will help you construct your plan to succeed in healthcare! In addition, you will receive important information regarding degree programs, classes, prerequisites, applications and deadlines.

    With such a wide range of health profession programs, the Dumke College of Health Professions has some additional requirements based on your chosen path of interest. Each program within our college has it's own application process, and acceptance into 91¶ÌÊÓƵ does not guarantee program admission. Application deadlines and requirements vary by program, and admission is competitive!

    Be sure to review our applicant checklists, found in each department under your area of interest, for vital information.

    Students often delay math and English general education requirements, which can postpone graduation. To make the most of your time at Weber State, don’t delay these requirements. Watch the video below to learn more about where to start. Learn more about Math and English requirements.

    Don't know what classes to take? Below is a list of some helpful first-semester course options:

PRE-PROFESSIONAL PURSUIT

If you're pursuing a pre-medical, pre-pa, or pre-professional program, it is important to understand that there is no "pre-medical" major at any college or university. Instead, you select a major in any discipline and include the courses that medical schools require (such as Anatomy and Physiology) in your undergraduate studies.

91¶ÌÊÓƵ provides pre-professional curricula, pre-professional advising, and pre-professional research experiences designed to aid students in preparing for their future goals.

Weber State students are accepted into pre-medical schools, on average, 20% above the national average!
