91¶ÌÊÓƵ has contracted with the third-party firm Send Word Now to provide the infrastructure and equipment to support the Code Purple notification system. By participating in the Code Purple program, you are acknowledging that you have read and agree to the Code Purple terms and conditions and disclaimer.
If you do not wish to be notified by the Code Purple system in the event of an emergency, click the "deactivate my account" button at the bottom of the Code Purple registration page.

How is Code Purple be used?
Code Purple will only be used by campus public safety officials during an emergency, or to announce an unexpected school closure or significant disruption to normal operations, such as a weather-related closure. One or two times per year, we will test the system by sending a test message.
As a registered user, you’ll receive timely notification in the event of an emergency or crisis.
The system will not be used for advertising or marketing messages.
How do I sign up for Code Purple?
All faculty, staff and students at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ will have their basic information entered in the Code Purple database. You may review, update and add to your contact information by logging in to the eWeber portal and clicking on the link under the 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Code Purple channel on the main eWeber page.
Why should I add additional contact numbers?
The university may not have all your contact numbers and/or your numbers in the system may not be current. In the event of an emergency, timely notification may be critical. Additional contact numbers may increase the likelihood of reaching you in a timely manner.
Why should I include a text-message contact number?
In some emergencies, due to the volume of calls being made, text messaging may be a faster, more efficient way to receive important updates. All participants are encouraged to include a text messaging contact as a way to receive timely notification. (Please be advised that text messaging charges may apply when receiving a text message.)
After I sign up for Code Purple, do I remain in the system permanently?
Code Purple is an opt-out system. You’ll be asked to renew/update your information in the Code Purple system once a year to make sure your contact numbers are current.
Why won't the system allow me to enter a phone number more than once?
With the exception of your cell phone number, which also may be entered in the "text" field, all other numbers may only be entered once.
Why does the registration page say that my phone number exists in another record?
The most common reason for this error message is that you are trying to enter a phone number that someone else has already submitted to the Code Purple database. A phone number may only be entered in the database once. If you receive an error message that the phone number entered already exists, check and see if a family member or colleague who shares that phone number may have already entered it in the Code Purple database.
