NET 4760 – Cybersecurity and Network Management Internship
The purpose of this course is to permit Cybersecurity and Network Management majors who are currently working in a cybersecurity or IT related job or internship to receive academic credits for their work, with the coordination and approval of a faculty mentor and their supervisor.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: NET 4700 or instructor approval (contact instructor via email with your W# if you do not have the prerequisites/corequisite).
What to Expect:
- Meet with the company supervisor and/or faculty advisor to discuss and plan four to five (4-5) work-related learning outcomes and complete a Senior Project Approval form (provided in class)
- Develop a senior project plan that can either:
- Meet an existing company need that meets the academic rigor of an upper-division course.
- Meet the academic rigor of an upper-division course.
