Meet the Instructors

Mark Baugh

Program Coordinator Manufacturing Engineering Technology
Welding Engineering Technology

BS, University of Utah
MS, Utah State University

Mark has been involved in Welding Engineering Technology for over 20 years. An experienced professor at Utah State University and 91¶ÌÊÓƵ. Carrying on the tradition and reputation of Professional Welding Engineering education from Utah. An educator working with the American Welding Society and Weld-Ed, providing professional training seminars for educators in welding, quality, and manufacturing. Practical skills and experience come from owning a manufacturing business for 30 years.
Knowledgeable in all aspects of welding and manufacturing, including Welding metallurgy, processes, NDT,
codes and quality assurance, robotic welding, Management experience as the director of centers, research.

Mary Foss

Mary Foss is an Assistant Professor of Engineering Technology at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ.  She received a BSE in Bioengineering from Arizona State University and MSE from Stevens Institute of Technology in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Engineering.  She has held positions as Facilities Engineering manager responsible for large plant expansions projects and Technical Services Engineering Manager where she managed the validation programand metrology lab for a Utah based pharmaceutical company.
