Experience Weber
Join the 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Outdoor Program and Experience Weber to the fullest. This is an overnight experience intended to help new students meet new friends, see what the mountains of Utah have to offer, hang out with student ambassadors, and ultimately Experience Weber to the fullest at Pineview Reservoir!
This trip is open to all NEW students (first year and transfer).

**Participants are not permitted to drive themselves or leave the event early. All transportation is scheduled and we will not allow for late arrivals or early departures**

NOTICE: We are aware of contamination concerns at Pineview Reservoir and are closely monitoring test results provided by the state. Anderson Cove, the area we are staying at, has consistently been testing at safe levels for water born pathogens. If anything changes regarding our program you will be notified, but Experience Weber will move forward as planned.

A Lasting Impact
Weber State values High Impact Educational Experiences (HIEEs). This event is designed to allow students to engage and form connections: with each other, with 91¶ÌÊÓƵ staff and faculty, with the nature surrounding Ogden. We hope that students who participate in Experience Weber have the opportunity to engage with learning outcomes, such as *meaningful interactions and personal investment.
Schedule
Thursday:
8:15 a.m. Check in at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Outdoor Adventure and Welcome Center
10:00 a.m. Arrival at camp ground
11:00 a.m. Hit the water for a day on the beach + yard games and board games
12:30 p.m. Lunch
1:30 p.m. Afternoon activities on the water and beach + tie-dye and crafts 3:00 p.m. Campsite yoga
3:30 p.m. Clean up water front, group games and intramural tournaments, tie-dye, crafts, etc
6:00 p.m. Dinner with special guests
7:30 p.m. Zumba cardio dance party
9:30 p.m. Campfire
10:30 p.m. Quiet time
Friday:
7:30 a.m. Breakfast
8:00 a.m. Break down camp
9:00 a.m Load the Bus
10:00 a.m. Arrive back on campus for new student orientation
Equipment
Camping equipment can be provided as needed - if students have access to tents and sleeping bags, they should bring there own, as our inventory is limited. Please indicate your needs on your registration form otherwise, students should plan to bring a sleeping bag, sleeping pad, swimwear, an extra change of clothing, a warm jacket, and a water bottle.

Early Move In
Students who live on campus and attend Experience Weber have the option to move into their dorm on 8/21.
