Our accounting program is separately accredited by the AACSB, enjoying an elite distinction among U.S. and international accounting programs. Our bachelor's degree in accounting prepares you to start your career as an accounting professional, or to enter any of our business graduate programs. Class sizes tend to be smaller than any of our competitors among public and private universities in Utah, providing you with a much more personalized experience.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
of an accounting professional

Accounting is an incredibly varied industry and there is no one “typical” day. An accounting professional’s day depends on whether he/she is working for a large or small firm, what their specialty is (like tax or audit), and what time of month (month-end closing activities) or year it is (tax season: 12 hour days). Individuals may also travel to meet clients or attend conferences. Much of the work is done using computers and technology.
