STUDENT SUCCESS: Congratulations to our 2703 Spring 2022 graduates! 
AWARDS: 
Congratulations to Kathleen Nuñez, Bachelor of Science in Accounting, for being one of the nine 91¶ÌÊÓƵ students to receive the Ceremony of Excellence Award.
INVOLVEMENT: Rod Belnap, CTE director, helped Weber School District staff, and students create the "Happiness Hotline" full of encouragement, tips and advice from elementary kids 1-833-884-2779.

STUDENT ENGAGEMENT: IRS Criminal Investigation Special Agents gave 25 accounting students an inside look into criminal investigations. 

FACULTY ENGAGEMENT: 
Faculty have been busy with research, interviews and engagment from cyber attacks in Ukraine to conflicts in Africa to economics insights in China.

CONGRATULATIONS: 
Álvaro La Parra-Pérez, associate professor of economics, and Loisanne Kattelman, instructor of accounting, on receiving the Presidential Teaching Excellence Award.

ALUMNI SUCCESS STORIES: Experlogix's CEO Brady Haider, MBA graduate, was a finalist for Chief People Officer (CPO) of the year award from the Slopes Hall of Fame AND was named to the . 

Graduates, Jake and Hayden Wadsworth have turned a garage project into a $40 million Utah company with HydroJug. They have also just hired recent supply chain graduate, Ryan Holmes as the director of operations. Read the full story online!

COAL TO CARBON FIBER PROJECTGreg Aupperle, Amberly Carter and Jordan Wilkinson, supply chain management seniors, recently presented the results of their study of the coal-to-carbon fiber market with a focus on drone and automotive applications.

ALUMNI SUCCESSSchuyler Calder is currently living and working in Zürich, Switzerland with his wife, daughter and two labradoodles. At KPMG, he assists foreign companies in their application of U.S. related accounting. Read Schuyler's full story here.

FULLBRIGHT TEACHING SCHOLARRandy Boyle (MIS professor) was awarded a Fullbright Teaching Scholar in Poland for the 2021-2022 year.

STUDENT SUCCESS STORIESWilliam Holt (economics alum) published a book, Armanté Gordon (finance grad) accepted an offer with Goldman Sachs, and Riley French (economics alum) was accepted to NYU.
