Why major in human resource management at Weber State?
Human Resource Management enables students to understand and develop human capital as a strategic competitive advantage through recruiting, selection, training, performance management, and compensation. HRM begins with the premise that people are a firm’s most important resource and that the management of this critical resource ultimately determines the degree of success of the organization. Our program is unique because it aligns directly with the Society of Human Resource Managers (SHRM) curriculum meaning that students can apply for the SHRM-CP (certified professional) exam upon graduation.
