Provost, Responsibilities & Timeline
As the Chief Academic Officer of 91¶ÌÊÓƵ, the provost has the following responsibilities in Program Review.
Year 2 Fall |
Sept 30 |
- The Provost, or a designated delegate, chairs the Program Review Standing Committee Meeting(s) and asks questions of the Program Chair with regard to the program review findings and documents. The Provost receives the recommendation from the Standing Committee to accept or accept with modification, the findings of each program review.

Oct 30 |
- The Provost, or a designated delegate, prepares an institutional response to each program review which identifies the need for interim progress reports, as well as the anticipated date of the next review for each program.
- The Provost forwards the institutional response to the Program Faculty and Academic Dean.

Nov 30 |
- The Provost submits a summary document to the 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Board of Trustees which outlines the programs that have undergone program review during that academic year and the institutional responses to each of these reviews.

- The Provost submits a summary document to the Utah Board of Regents which outlines the programs that have undergone 91¶ÌÊÓƵ program review during that academic year and the institutional responses to each of these reviews.
