Studying Education at Weber State
Weber State’s education associate’s degree prepares students who are considering careers in education to earn their bachelor’s degrees in elementary education or special education.
Education Highlights
Weber State’s associate’s degree in education allows you to complete your general education requirements and begin training as a teacher for grades K-8 or special education.
Although a bachelor’s degree is required for many teaching positions, having an associate’s degree may lead to a pay increase for those who are currently working in the educational field.
Beyond the Classroom
As an education major, you can gain experience through community programs, like CAPES, a skill-development initiative for children with disabilities.
You can meet your peers and join in networking opportunities and other events through Weber State’s Educator's Rising, and/or Council for Exceptional Children.
