Why the MBA?

I got my Bachelor's degree in computer science and I wanted to be someone who could speak across business and technology - filling the gap between the two.

My Experience

My experience in the business school started with the cybersecurity graduate certificate and the plan to move on to the MBA program. I had been working in IT and dealing with cybersecurity for several years, so it made for a smooth transition and I was able to move from there into the MBA program.

Faculty Impact

Two professors had the most significant impact for me. Randy Boyle - working with him was excellent. He encouraged me to stretch and try doing a little bit more career-wise, which led to a career change for me. It's been a good experience. Shaun Hansen - his classes about organizational behavior and ethical leadership really resonated with me and have helped with my leadership roles.

Advice

It's never too late to start.

Where are you now?

I plan to utilize the skills I've gained in my current position as a Project Director at Hill Air Force Base.
