Biography
Edward Kleyn’s journey leads from academia to the military and then into banking. Drafted into the Army after completing his degree, Kleyn served as a counselor in the Army prison system at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Transitioning to a career in banking post-military service, he quickly found his passion in the industry. Kleyn's impact extends beyond banking as he has forged meaningful relationships, supported community organizations, and served on various boards. In recognition of his remarkable contributions, Kleyn was honored with the Wall of Fame Award by the Ogden-Weber Chamber of Commerce in 2010. Alongside his wife, Deanna Kleyn, Ed deeply values 91¶ÌÊÓƵ's transformative role in their lives. They have generously given back to the university community, contributing to the Edward G. and Deanna S. Scholarship Endowment and actively participating in initiatives to support the institution's growth.
