Biography

Robert Despain has leveraged his education to excel in various professional and leadership roles including a 40-year-long career as Vice President of Business Development at Petersen Inc. As a Certified Public Information Officer and a graduate of programs such as Rapport Leadership International and the Game of Work, Despain embodies a commitment to continuous learning and personal development. Beyond his professional achievements, Despain is deeply involved in community organizations and associations. He is a proud member of organizations  such as the Ogden-Weber Chamber of Commerce, the American Nuclear Society, and the Utah Steel Fabricators Association, where he has served in leadership capacities. Despain's dedication to his alma mater, is evident through his involvement with the 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Wildcat Club and his establishment of endowments in support of the 91¶ÌÊÓƵ men's golf program and Professional Sales Department, ensuring opportunities for future generations of students.
