Enterprise Rentals hosts successful sales competition on campus
OGDEN – 91¶ÌÊÓƵ’s Professional Sales program, in partnership with Enterprise Rentals, hosted an exciting and competitive Sales Competition on Wednesday, February 26, at the Noorda Building on campus. The event brought together 50 talented Professional Sales students who showcased their skills in a high-energy, real-world sales environment.
“We are always excited about this event.” Said Associate Professor Brock Adams, Director of the Alan E. Hall Center for Sales Excellence. “Enterprise is an incredible partner with our department, and they always go above and beyond in helping us create
real-world experiences for our students. This competition is always a hit!”
Sponsored by Enterprise Rentals, the competition allowed students to demonstrate their sales expertise, communication abilities, and problem-solving skills. Students roleplayed with employees of Enterprise playing the role of a potential buyer. Fifteen outstanding students were selected as winners, divvying up over $2,000 in prize money.
The competition highlighted the students’ abilities and reinforced 91¶ÌÊÓƵ’s commitment to providing hands-on learning experiences that bridge the gap between academia and industry in the Department of Professional Sales.
“This event was a fantastic opportunity for our students to apply their classroom knowledge in a competitive setting,” said Professor Blake Nielson. “We are grateful to Enterprise Rentals for their support and for helping us create such a valuable
experience for our students.”
The annual Enterprise Sales Challenge will next transition to be held at a grander scale at the International Career Development Conference, sponsored by DECA. The competition will be held the first week of April, in San Francisco, California.
