Whitney Mabey

Whitney has always loved being around new homes. She spent much of her childhood visiting model homes and construction. This foundation spurred her interest in learning how homes were built and pushed her to start working directly with Engineers.

Whitney is currently a senior at Weber State working on her Bachelor of Integrated Studies in Building Design and Construction. Whitney has been working with Silverpeak Engineering for two years as a drafter, working on residential and commercial plans, and has a total of three years of drafting experience. This experience qualified her to be an active part of the drafting team in the Solar Decathlon. Being a part of the Solar Decathlon team has aloud her to see the importance of design and construction coming together and seeing it in action.
