Climate Change & Culture Shift

This event no longer takes place.

Climate change, a consequence of human-induced global warming, presents a major challenge to society both locally and globally.  With presentations from faculty in an array of disciplines and practitioners in the field, this series will explore topics and perspectives related to shifting culture to do what is necessary to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all. These topic areas include philosophy and ethics, emotional responses, policy and politics, equity and social justice, civic action, behavior, history, media/communications, art and story telling, game theory, resilience planning and more.  

This course runs over the lunch hour, making it a perfect time to eat your lunch and enjoy the discussion.  If you would like to receive the Zoom link and reminders of the week's topic directly to your inbox, please complete this . 

Students are also attending the series for credit with Dr. Alice Mulder Geog 4920 (2-credits), CRN 23490; readings and assignments, via Canvas complement the presentations.
