Editor's Note
Foreward
Weber Studies is a new, juried journal intended to encourage a broad exhange of professional work and to provide editorial, design, and printing experience for the faculty and students involved in its publication.
We welcome queries as well as submissions of photography and art, poetry, stories, and articles on a variety of topics. Articles should be of a high intellectual content but addressed to a general rather than a specialized audience. Manuscripts should be under 4,000 words, submitted in triplicate, and typewritten double-spaced according to the form of Turabian's manual of style. Documentation of sources should be internalized where possible, with any remaining footnotes numbered consecutively, gathered at the end, and subtitled "Notes." More detailed manuscript guidelines are available upon request. All submissions should be accompanied by a three-line biographical statement, on a separate page, concerning the writer's/ artist's background, qualifications, and accomplishments; plus a stamped, self-addressed envelope for off-campus authors. Send to the editor, c/o the School of Arts and Humanities- 1904, Weber State College, Ogden, UT 84408.
Weber Studies is an open forum for academic research and professional opinion. All opinions expressed are those of the writers themselves, and do not necessarily represent the views of the editorial staff, the publisher, or the college.
