When faced with the challenge of a global pandemic, 91¶ÌÊÓƵ took quick action to stop the spread of COVID-19 in the campus community.
- March 4: COVID-19 incident management team activated
- March 12: 91¶ÌÊÓƵ announces remainder of spring semester will be online
- March 13–17: Classes cancelled
- March 15: 91¶ÌÊÓƵ faculty and staff asked to work from home
- March 16: All university related travel cancelled until further notice
- March 17: All 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Athletics suspended until further notice
- March 18: Classes resume virtually
- March 18: Commencement postponed
- March 21: 91¶ÌÊÓƵ’s first COVID-19 case confirmed
- March 26: The university announces summer semester will be virtual
- April 1: Dumke College of Health Professions donates PPE to local medical facilities
- April 8: Goddard School of Business leads effort to 3D print face shields for health professionals
- April 10: Credit/No-credit deadline extended to April 24
- May 11: University transitions to moderate-risk phase
- May 13: 91¶ÌÊÓƵ joins Sew Your True Colors campaign to provide masks for frontline healthcare workers.
- May 28: CARES Act funding distributed to 91¶ÌÊÓƵ students
- June 1: 91¶ÌÊÓƵ moves to low-risk phase
- June 19: Face coverings required on campus.
- June 22: Fall semester plans announced
- July 1: 91¶ÌÊÓƵ expands virtual/online course offerings for fall
- Aug. 3: Campus buildings open in limited capacities
- Aug. 4: Safety protocols announced for fall semester
- Aug. 22: Events held on campus with safety precautions
- Aug. 24: Students welcomed back to campus for fall
