Weber State is well known for its sustainability efforts. In fiscal year 2018, 91¶ÌÊÓƵ saved $1.9 million on its electric, natural gas and water bills, and reduced its direct carbon footprint by 46% (when compared to a 2007 baseline). The university is consistently named to The Princeton Review’s Guide to Green Colleges, the Sierra Club’s Cool Schools list and the Arbor Day Foundation’s Tree Campus USA list.
In keeping with Weber State’s strong commitment to sustainability, Wildcat will now be printed on uncoated paper that contains 30% recycled content. In addition, the paper is processed chlorine free, which is environmentally preferable.
