Early Childhood Highlights

Your education in Weber State’s early childhood program will help you stand out to employers when applying for pre-kindergarten, Head Start and child-care positions. Along with training you for your career, an early childhood degree prepares you for parenting.

Beyond the Classroom

What You’ll LEARN at Weber

You will learn about child development and its effect on young children’s learning, as well as teacher planning and early childhood curriculum assessment and instruction.

Upon graduation, you will be prepared to teach preschool-age children.

What You CAN DO After Weber

You will have the skills to work with young children in settings that don’t require a teaching certificate, or in other areas that focus on early childhood issues.
