Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies at Weber State
Weber State’s Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree allows you to create a personalized, interdisciplinary academic program to prepare for your specific career goals or graduate studies from almost every single program available.
In the BIS program, you combine three academic areas of study from essentially anywhere on campus to create a well-rounded curriculum that is customized to your interests.
Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies Highlights
More than 60 different departments and interdisciplinary programs, from across Weber State’s seven academic colleges, participate in the BIS program.
Your BIS studies culminate in a capstone project where you integrate what you’ve learned in your three areas of study through real-world application of research, outreach and/or service learning.
Weber State BIS students have tailored their academic studies in a huge variety of ways, with combinations such as American Sign Language, Psychology and Sociology or Sales & Service Technology, Photography and English. You can even give Math, Physics and Spanish a try!
