91¶ÌÊÓƵ (91¶ÌÊÓƵ) Scholarships

91¶ÌÊÓƵ provides millions of dollars in financial aid and scholarships each year.

Please become familiar with important deadline dates and information found on 91¶ÌÊÓƵ’s Scholarship Page: /financialaid. This link will take you to 91¶ÌÊÓƵ’s  main scholarship page. Please complete the 5 steps on the main page located under “Apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships.”

Students must do these steps to be considered for any nursing scholarships.

PLEASE NOTE:
There is often confusion as to the difference between a full time program and full time credits. If a scholarship or financial aid requires a student to be “full-time”, that equates to a full time credit load. Credit loads are defined as follows:

  • Full time = 12 credits
  • 3/4 time = 9 credits
  • 1/2 time = 6 credits

To obtain FULL  Pell Grants you must be enrolled full time credit load (12 credits), not be in a full time program. Pell Grants are adjusted each semester based on the amount of credits students are taking if not enrolled full time (see above).

Nursing is a full time PROGRAM, not a full time credit load. There are many relevant classes a student can add to their schedule to qualify for a “full time credit load” while in the Nursing program. There are resources to help students with those classes such as those found at this link:

Annie Taylor Dee School of Nursing (SON) Scholarships

The Annie Taylor Dee SON has numerous scholarships available and our generous donors outline the award criteria for scholarships. The majority of our scholarships require financial need to be present (based on FAFSA information and students to be at least 1/2 time). Please refer to the table above.

All 91¶ÌÊÓƵ students accepted into the nursing program may be eligible for Annie Taylor Dee SON Scholarships. Recipients are chosen via FAFSA and completing steps 1-5 on the 91¶ÌÊÓƵ’s Financial Aid and  Scholarships page found here: /financialaid

IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR ANY SON SCHOLARSHIPS, THE 91¶ÌÊÓƵ SPECIALIZED SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION NEEDS TO BE FILLED OUT BY 11:59 PM:

FALL SEMESTER: AUGUST 7th
SPRING SEMESTER: DECEMBER 7th

SUMMER SEMESTER: APRIL 7th

NO EXCEPTIONS!

PLEASE NOTE: FAFSA has its own deadline. Please refer to the main 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Scholarship page for details.

**In addition to the completed forms above, you must have a 91¶ÌÊÓƵ GPA for any Nursing Scholarships**

Failure to complete all the required steps on the 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Scholarship page will render you ineligible for any and all SON scholarships.

The Annie Taylor Dee School of Nursing is appreciative of the generous community support in the form of scholarships for our nursing students.
