Planning and Budgeting
91¶ÌÊÓƵ has a broad-based and coordinated planning and budgeting process that applies across the five university divisions of Academic Affairs, Student Access & Success, Administrative Services, Information Technology, and University Advancement. Each division reports yearly plans and goals. These plans and goals are aligned to the institution’s mission and core themes and informed by other initiatives to address short- and long-term demands and challenges in realizing the mission. Budgeting for divisions and strategic initiatives occur together at this stage as part of a strategic evaluation of the institution. Divisional units then engage in the implementation of these goals and plans with unit level budgeting occurring within divisions to ensure success. An assessment of unit goals and broader mission fulfillment objectives and indicators are performed with the collaboration of the staff and analysts in Institutional Effectiveness, Student Access & Success Assessment, and Institutional Research.
