Why Accounting?

I took accounting courses in high school, so I was already headed in that direction. Plus, my family has accounting ties; my grandpa, who has had a big impact on me, was an accountant. I figured out that accounting was my area pretty quickly.

My Experience

I have had a positive experience in the business school. I had great professors that have helped me overall. Obviously there have been some ups and downs, but I've kept busy and had a great experience. 

Faculty Impact

I've had lots of great professors, but Lisa Hopkins, James Hansen and Mason Snow had a big impact on me.

Advice

Be ready for work. Classes will be challenging, perhaps more difficult than expected. But push forward, do the work, and it will turn out alright.

What’s Next?

After graduation, I will complete the Master of Accounting, get my CPA, and see what happens from there.
