Why Business Administration?

When I started college I didn’t know what I wanted to do. But I like to make things (bake, cook, sew, etc.) so I thought maybe I could open my own business involving one of those hobbies. I thought business would be the best option for me.

My Educational Experience

I’ve had a really good time at Weber State, the teachers are nice and take time to explain things in a way that helps me to understand. One of my first semesters here I took an accounting class. My professor (James Hansen) pulled me aside and encouraged me to go into accounting, so I minored in that. Also my supply chain professors opened my eyes and sparked my interest.

My Plan

I don’t know for sure what my plan is yet. I want to take a break to figure out what I like. I might pursue my master’s degree, but find a job first to get some work experience.

Advice

Try to enjoy your time in college, and set a schedule for yourself that you can follow that is balanced, so you can focus on your studies but also focus on other areas of your life.
