Department of Economics faculty run experiments if they are writing a research paper that involves an experiment. Some semesters, there are many experiments and others, there are few.
Once you register, you will receive notifications of upcoming research experiments and be given the opportunity to sign up, participate and earn money.
When you participate in economics experiments:
- You are guaranteed a show-up bonus for coming on time.
- Based on the decisions you make, you can possibly earn much more money.
- Typically, participants earn between $10-30 for experiments that last between 30-90 minutes.
