About
Terrilyn Morgan joined the faculty of 91¶ÌÊÓƵ in 2000 as an instructor of finance/accounting in the School of Accounting & Taxation at the Goddard School of Business & Economics. She is a member of the Assurance of Learning Committee for the Goddard School and volunteers with the VITA tax preparation program.
In addition to a bachelor's degrees in accounting and finance, Morgan holds a Master of Accounting (MAcc) from Weber State. She teaches finance and accounting courses in the Goddard School’s undergraduate and graduate programs—Master of Business Administration and Master of Accounting—as well as faculty/staff courses in personal finance.
Morgan’s work experience includes 15 years in banking as a commercial loan officer specializing in SBA and woman-owned business programs. Since 2008, her annual research on the progress of women attaining upper-management positions in the top 50 banks in the United States has appeared in numerous publications and has been presented at professional conferences. As an experienced and active accounting consultant, she helps local small businesses prepare loan requests, payroll tax reporting, financial analysis, internal financial audits and provides computer accounting system support.
