Podcast Studio
The podcast studio is an acoustically enhanced room that offers faculty the ability to record and produce podcasts with state of the art microphones and software.
Included in the studio:
- Four microphones and seating to offer flexibility for all varieties of podcasting.
- A user-friendly soundboard.
- A computer for recording and transferring audio files.
- Adobe Audition. Search for "Weber State Audition for Podcasting" on to familiarize yourself with Audition before your session. Additional help can be provided upon request by IT Training.
Faculty can schedule recording sessions by adding the “LP-103 Podcast Studio” to their Google calendar. Please add ittraining@weber.edu as a calendar invite for the first session or if assistance is needed during later sessions. Before scheduling the first session, please view the DIY Podcast Tutorial Video.
Note for Students
This podcast studio is specifically for faculty use. If the studio is needed to complete a course assignment, your faculty member needs to contact us to schedule the room. Other podcasting resources for personal and academic use are available for students in the library. For student resources, contact wsustudio76@gmail.com.
