Paramedic Program Outcomes

Program Description

We are proud of the fact that our paramedic program has been nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) and the Committee on Accreditation of Educational programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP) since 1984. Weber State was the first accredited paramedic program in Utah and one of the first in the nation.

Paramedic Student Success, Retention and Employment Rates:
CoAEMSP and CAAHEP require that all accredited programs maintain, and make available to the public, current and consistent summary information about student/graduate achievement that includes the results of one or more of the outcomes assessments. Weber State's paramedic program exceeds all minimum thresholds and greatly surpasses national pass rate averages.
