LaunchIt Weber offers 91¶ÌÊÓƵ students the opportunity to test their venture ideas against one another in front of a panel of judges and compete for a variety of awards each school year. The competition gives students a chance to test their concepts in the “real world” with real people outside of a classroom setting. Two participants or teams will be selected to compete as semi-finalists in the University of Utah’s Utah Entrepreneur Challenge competition each Spring.

LAUNCHIT Weber
LaunchIT Weber is a business idea competition open to all current 91¶ÌÊÓƵ degree-seeking students. Individuals or teams can submit entries. The competition fosters and promotes business growth at the collegiate level by giving students a chance to organize, direct, and present a business idea to a panel of expert judges.
HOW TO APPLY
To apply, fill out the registration form and upload a video. Videos can be basic by featuring the student or student team, providing a brief explanation of the business or idea. For rules and regulations, check out the full information packet. Questions? Email us at entrepreneurship@weber.edu.
WHATS IN IT FOR ME?
Two cash prizes of $10,000 will be awarded to the individuals/teams judged to have presented the most plausible and promising business ideas or opportunities. Additional cash prizes of $1,000 will be awarded to the third through and sixth places individuals/teams, respectively.
