Mike Squires is the Government Affairs Director for Utah Associated Municipal Systems (“UAMPS”) overseeing UAMPS’ state and federal government affairs strategy. He worked for the Lt. Governor of Utah, and also as a congressional staffer in Washington covering health care, energy and environmental issues. Mike received his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Utah’s S.J. Quinney College of Law with a graduate certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources Law. While in law school, Mike clerked for the Utah Attorney General in the Environment and Health Division where he worked on Clean Air Act litigation.
