Tyler Poulson

Tyler Poulson is Deputy Director of the Building Electrification Initiative, a nonprofit organization working with cities nationally to pilot strategies to scale up the electrification of building heating and cooling systems. Prior to his role with BEI, Tyler served as Senior Energy & Climate Program Manager at Salt Lake City Corporation, and Environmental Sustainability Manager with Park City Municipal Corporation. Tyler’s work in public and private sector roles has resulted in the creation of numerous clean energy policies and programs at the state and local government levels, including breakthrough legislation to move Utah communities towards a net-100% renewable electricity portfolio by 2030. He previously worked in the finance sector and has a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Utah, along with the LEED Green Associate accreditation.
