Kat Andra works for the Salt Lake City Public Lands Department as a Senior Planning Strategist. She has been working in the field of conservation and environmental science since 2018 with an educational background in environmental biology, and focuses her work on adapting public, urban spaces into nodes of natural respite and community reflection. Enhancing biodiversity, climate resilience, and habitat are high priorities for her as she works within Salt Lake City to create welcoming spaces for all. Kat is a certified SITES accredited professional which helps in her work to create strong community connections to nature through public lands.
