Lyndsay Watkins

Senior Associate, Decarbonization, U.S. Green Building Council

Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 4:10 p.m. | Decarbonization Through Care: Balancing Humanity and the Environment

Lyndsay is dedicated to the intersection of climate and equity within design and communities as well as crafting regenerative, healthy and biophilic spaces that foster connection to nature through her work of decarbonization at USGBC. Between the nitty gritty of whole building life cycle assessment, the high-level lens of pulling the decarbonization thread through LEED V5 development, to pushing market transformation through behavior change, she loves collaborating with others and sharing best practices on the responsible growth of the built environment and the experience of the humans that live in it. Lyndsay is very involved in her community building relationships through the founding of ACE Idaho, a free mentorship program for high school students interested in the AEC industry as well as the creation and coordination of Climate Club, a local sustainability group focusing on resource sharing and grassroots sustainability implementation.
