CPE Certificate Requirements
The training program “helps peer educators develop leadership skills to be able to successfully create and implement campus programs” and mentors learn the skills necessary to be successful. The CPE training includes eight (8) modules covering a range of topics from the role of peer educators, to referral skills, to group dynamics.
Students can register for CPE online training . Students are then provided access to a self-paced training platform where they will complete the 8 modules (about 8-10 hours). Trained facilitators can offer CPE training in person if needed. Please contact olgaantonio@weber.edu to schedule this in advance.
In order for 91¶ÌÊÓƵ mentors to obtain CPE certification, they must then complete an evaluation and pass a certification exam. Certified mentors receive a certificate, a resume attachment and access to an online community of support from peer educators across the country.
