The Weber Welcome Advising & Registration Event is designed to further connect you with campus resources and your support team here at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ. Weber Welcome will give you an opportunity to: 

• ‌  Get connected with resources, staff, and other students 
•  ‌ Tour the campus 
• ‌  Meet student leaders 
• ‌  Meet your academic advisor who can answer all of your questions 
• ‌  Explore clubs and activities 
• ‌  Get your Wildcard and visit other departments

Options For Your Weber Welcome Requirement

There are three ways to meet the Weber Welcome Advising & Registration requirement. Please pick one.

• In-Person Weber Welcome Advising & Registration Event 

  We strongly encourage you to attend the in-person event. 

  The In-Person Weber Welcome Event is a fun, free and informative event that allows you to get acquainted with the Weber State campus and resources that are available to you as a student. 

  You can also bring your parents or supporters to attend the Wildcat Supporter Orientation while you are at your Weber Welcome Event.

  In-Person Weber Welcome Events are held before each semester:

  Dec. 7 Weber Welcome Schedule:

  10 a.m. - Check In
  10:30 a.m. - Welcome!
  11:05 a.m. - Breakout Session 1. Weber Dining & Food Security in the community; Campus Recreation; OR Student Employment on Campus.
  11:40 a.m. - Breakout Session 2. Pick one: First Year Experience; Mentoring Programs; OR Student Involvement. 
  12:10 p.m. - Lunch & Resource Fair
  1:30 p.m. - Advising & Registration Session
  3:30 p.m. - Open Office Hours/Questions

• Virtual Weber Welcome Advising and Registration Event

  The Virtual Weber Welcome event is an event that offers both flexibility and connection with asynchronous and syncronous portions.

  Virtual Events for Spring Semester 2025 

  Dates: 

  • Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024: 5-8 p.m. 
  • December 16, 2024: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

  Virtual Weber Welcome Schedule:

  5:00 p.m. - Financial Aid Zoom presentation, emailed to your student email 

  5:30 p.m. -  join Zoom link emailed to your student email

• College Registration Lab

  We highly recommend attending a Weber Welcome event if you can. If you cannot make a Weber Welcome event, you may attend a registration lab in your college to meet this requirement. Find more details in the calendar below. 

  If you do not have a declared major, you can attend the Exploratory & General Studies Registration labs. 

  Spring 2025 College Registration Labs:

  You do not need to RSVP for College Registration Labs, however you are required to come for the full time listed.  

  Nov. 26: Bowl & Enroll

  Time: 12 - 2 p.m. 
  Location: Lanes & Games, Shepherd Union

  Includes: General Studies, College of Engineering, Applied Sciences & Technology, Goddard School of Business & Economics, Lindquist College of Arts and Humanities, College of Science, Dumke College of Health Professions and the Moyes College of Education.

  Dec. 18: Bowl & Enroll

  Time: 2 - 4 p.m. 
  Location: Lanes & Games, Shepherd Union

  Includes: General Studies, College of Engineering, Applied Sciences & Technology, Goddard School of Business & Economics, Lindquist College of Arts and Humanities, College of Science and the Moyes College of Education.

• One-On-One Academic Advising (limited availability) 

  If you cannot make the Weber Welcome event or any of your college registration labs, you may or with an exploratory advisor if you have not yet chosen a major.

  In Starfish, you will select the "Weber Welcome" Appointment type when meeting with your advisor. 

  Please schedule 24 hours in advance in order for your hold to be lifted by time of appointment.
