Why Join?
Students on the Model United Nations team (competing) may be eligible for an activity waiver.
This course will teach how to problem-solve. This 3 credit hour class will teach you how to work with others who will have differing opinions from you.
Students from all majors and minors are eligible to compete.
Travel to San Francisco each year for the regional conference; attendance at national (Washington DC) as funding, team performance, and team numbers allows.
How To Sign Up
Register for the Model United Nations course (POLS 3150), taught during spring semester.
The course offers 3 credit hours and may be repeated once for a total of 6 credit hours. Model UN Team (1 credit) may also be taken by students who are returning or have MUNFW training. This course is open to all majors and minors.
Model UN can be taken as political science, International Studies, or as a general elective.
