1.0     PURPOSE

This policy outlines fees for recording certain types of credit on student transcripts.

2.0       POLICY

There will be a recording fee for credit hour transactions to a student's permanent transcript other than those involving course work completed at the University for credit requiring review of individual student records. A fee will be charged when credit hours are recommended and approved for the following types of credit. Procedures will be created by the Records Office for payment of the fee.

2.1     Military credit evaluated by either the director of admissions or that recommended by a department chair.

2.2     Nontraditional experience evaluated and recommended for credit by a department chair.

2.3     Training programs at nonaccredited institutions of either an academic or vocational nature as evaluated and recommended for credit by a department chair (including foreign institutions).

2.4     Special Examination credit.

2.5     Other.
