1.0 PURPOSE
This policy outlines the responsibility of the President regarding University business matters.
2.0 POLICY
2.1 The President shall be responsible for the proper and timely conduct of all business matters that pertain to the operation of the University.
2.2 The President shall prescribe appropriate regulations and procedures for the conduct of all business matters in adherence with statutory requirements, Utah Board of Higher Education policies, and University policies.
2.3 Financial records of the University shall be kept on forms in accordance with regulations prescribed by the Utah Board of Higher Education for the uniform system for University accounting in the state of Utah. Financial reports will be prepared and submitted to the Board of Trustees for transmittal to the Utah Board of Higher Education in accordance with statutory requirements.
2.4 The Vice President for Administrative Services shall assist the President by having responsibility for daily fiscal operations and audit and for fiscal planning.
