Pre-Chiropractic Program Overview

Begin your journey by attending the mandatory and informative
 Pre-Medical Professions Information Session.

Why choose pre-chiropractic at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ?

  • You will be adequately prepared for post-graduate studies in a pre-medical professional field.
  • You will have resources such as faculty, staff and advisors who have years of experience in the medical field and can offer expert advice and insight.
  • You will be getting involved in a field that is exciting and can make a difference to many individuals.

What do chiropractors do?

Chiropractic is the fastest growing and second-largest primary health care profession. There are approximately 60,000 doctors of chiropractic (DCs) in active practice in the United States. More than 10,000 students are currently enrolled in chiropractic educational programs accredited by a federally recognized body (CCE).

Comprehensive knowledge of all systems of the body and diagnostic procedures enable the DC to thoroughly evaluate a patient, address disorders relating to the spine and determine the need for referral to another health care provider.

Is there an application process for the pre-chiropractic program at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ?

There is no application deadline, but we encourage you to meet early and often with an advisor from the pre-professional programs. Contact the program office for specific information or to schedule an advisement time.

Extracurricular Opportunities

Extracurricular activities are often the component of an application that makes one more competitive.  Getting involved provides an opportunity for you to connect with others on campus and in the community, and will enhance your effectiveness and compassion as a chiropractor.
