Food Recovery Network

91¶ÌÊÓƵ Chapter

Weber partners with the , the largest student organization in the nation working to combat food waste and food insecurity. 49 U.S. states have FRN chapters, with 208 total chapters in the nation.

The Weber State chapter is a student driven volunteer program that aims to address food insecurity and to reduce food waste on campus. Volunteers regularly recover uneaten food from campus food services, that would have otherwise been wasted, and transport it to a local homeless shelter.

Additionally, this group assists with running food and supply drives for the Weber Cares Food Pantry. The group also works to educate the campus community about the pantry to ensure that those in need are connected with the resources available there. Join us for great volunteer opportunities and to be a part of making 91¶ÌÊÓƵ more sustainable.

By joining the Food Recovery Network at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ you can help make a difference for people in your own community.

Help 91¶ÌÊÓƵ make a difference and become part of an organization on campus that fights food insecurity and food waste.
