Prerequisite Action: Complete a Session in TAODescription: Therapy Assistance Online is a resource open to all students, faculty, and staff through the Counseling & Psychological Services Center. Click on "" & choose a session from a topic of your choosing or search by keyword. Topics include; Stress and Coping with Stressful Situations, Resilience, Grit, Personal Strength, Relationships and Communication, Health Related Concerns, Anxiety, Depression, Substance Use, Special Topics, and more. In addition, you can access TAO via eWeber. *Be sure to use your Weber email when you sign up for free access.* Time Commitment: 30 minutes Required Documentation: Write 3-4 sentences about what course you chose and what you learned. |

Action 1: Attend The Fall 2024 Stress Relief Star Show (Dec. 3rd or 4th)Description: The Student Wellness Center organizes a Stress Relief Star Show every finals week in the Ott Planetarium located in Lind Lecture. More information can be seen on the Stress Relief Star Show webpage.

Action 2: Join the Student or Employee Wellness Rewards ProgramDescription: There are two Wellness Rewards Programs at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ to help you be the best you!
Time Commitment: 30 minutes Required Documentation: If you are a student, submit a photo of yourself with your new Wellness Rewards Card. If you are faculty/staff, submit a screenshot of your Employee Wellness (WellSteps) profile. |
Action 3: Take the Psychological First Aid (PFA) CourseDescription: Includes a 5-hour interactive course that puts the participant in the role of a provider in a post-disaster scene. This course is for individuals new to disaster response who want to learn the core goals of PFA, as well as for seasoned practitioners who want a review. It features innovative activities, video demonstrations, and mentor tips from the nation’s trauma experts and survivors. PFA- trained identified individuals may be called upon by 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Emergency Operations or the Counseling & Psychological Services Center to assist should the campus be impacted by a large-scale disaster. PFA online also offers a Learning Community where participants can share experiences using PFA in the field, receive guidance during times of disaster, and obtain additional resources and training. Action 4: Participate in a Free Group eXercise ClassDescription: Participate in a free group eXercise class through Campus Recreation. They offer in-person, hybrid, and virtual classes. Click here to see the class schedule. Time Commitment: 1 hour Required Documentation: Write 3-4 sentences about how you felt about the class and/or if you would do it again. |
Action 5: Schedule a Free Dental Screening or Your Regular CleaningDescription: The Department of Dental Hygiene has a Dental Hygiene Clinic open to all students, faculty/staff, and community members for low-cost oral healthcare. Call to make an appointment for a free screening or schedule your regular teeth cleaning at your established dentist. Click here for more information or call their front desk at 801-626-6131. Time Commitment: 1 hour Required Documentation: Confirm the scheduled appointment. |
Action 6: Walk a Route From Weber Walks or a Route of Your OwnDescription: The Student Wellness Center created a map of different routes and their associated distances on campus called Weber Walks. The distances range from 0.33 miles - 1.0 miles. If you aren't on Weber campus, you can find a nice place to walk around Davis Campus or your neighborhood. Time Commitment: 30 minutes- 1 hour Required Documentation: Write 3-4 sentences about where you walked and how you felt afterward. |
Action 7: Schedule an Appointment With the Financial LiteracyDescription: Schedule an appointment with Financial Literacy for free financial coaching as well as help learn how to create a budget, save money, build wealth, understand your loans, and more. Schedule an appointment here. Time Commitment: 1 hour Required Documentation: Write 3-4 sentences about what you learned. |
Action 8: Record A Week of Stress Relieving ActivitiesDescription: Make time for yourself to engage in activities that help you alleviate stress. Keep a log of the stress-relieving activities you participate in for at least a week. has a Stress Management Log for faculty & staff to fill in with a minimum of 20 minutes of activities 2X per week for a month (get a head start by completing this action). Otherwise, a log can be kept on a phone, on paper, or in a spreadsheet. Time Commitment: 1 hour Required Documentation: Write 3-4 sentences about how the activities you chose helped alleviate your stress. |
