Academic Peer Coaching
Connect with an experienced student who can answer your questions, give tips, and help you be successful in college. You can talk with a peer coach through texts, online, or in person. Coaches are available to meet at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Davis, 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Ogden, or virtually.
Disability Services
Disability Services provides advisement and technology to meet the needs of students with hearing, mobility, cognitive and psychological impairments. An Impairment is anything that substantially limits one day to day activities, such as walking, hearing, seeing, speaking, writing, and learning.

The Financial Aid & Scholarships Office will help you learn about the different types of aid and use all that is available to you.

FAQs
What’s my time commitment?
A general rule in college is that for every one credit hour you are enrolled in, you will spend approximately two to three hours outside of class studying. For example: 3 credit hours = 3 hours in class per week = 6-9 hours study/homework time
Full-time students enroll in 12-18 hours, part-time students enroll in 1-11 credit hours per semester. The course load that is best for you depends on your needs. Wildcat Scholars offers both full-time and part-time* schedules to best meet your needs. Speak with your Wildcat Advisor to learn which schedule will help you achieve your educational dreams sooner.
How do I register for classes for Wildcat Scholars?
For your first two semesters, your Wildcat Scholar Advisor will build your schedule with you and help you register for classes. For future reference visit to learn how.
What is a Math and/or English Placement? How do I find my placement?
Placement scores determine your starting point for math and English. Placement scores are found on CatTracks in your under the “Student Information” section at the top of the screen.
To qualify for Wildcat Scholars you must have a Math Placement 1, 2, or 3 AND an English Placement 1 or 2
My ACT score has expired or I have not taken a placement test. How do I test for my math or English placement?
91¶ÌÊÓƵ provides placement exams for students to find the course level that’s just right for you. Vist the Math & English Placement page to learn more and how to take these assessments.

I have a math placement of 1, 2, or 3, but an English place of 3 (or higher), can I still be in Wildcat Scholars?
No, to qualify for Wildcat Scholars you must have a Math Placement 1, 2, or 3* AND an English Placement 1 or 2*. To find help in math visit Developmental Math to learn what resources are available for you.

What classes will I take?
Your first two semesters with Wildcat Scholars are purposefully structured to help you to complete English and math requirements faster while taking courses that count towards graduation. You will skip over developmental math and English courses. Visit the Wildcat Scholar’s Curriculum page to learn what classes you will take.
Do I need to know my major?
Unsure what you want to major in? No problem! Wildcat Scholars has built-in career exploration opportunities to help you identify your academic and career goals.
I do not think I can afford college, what are my options?
