Speaker and Presenter Proposals

This year we are welcoming proposals focused on the Intermountain Sustainability Summit's (ISS) theme Regeneration. Whether you are working at the community, educational, municipal, company or policy level, come share how you are fostering a healthy, sustainable world at the ISS on March 20 -21, 2025.

The ISS attracts thought leaders from business, government, non-profit and academic sectors, across Utah and the Intermountain West. Grounded in growing sustainability successes, yet mindful of the challenges ahead, we seek submissions highlighting practical solutions and innovations. We welcome topics from all areas of sustainability, including the human aspects of working together with dignity and respect. Presenters make the ISS the go-to event to learn, share and regenerate each year. Be a part of the ISS!

The call for speaker and artist proposals’ is open through Friday, October 25, 2024. See the proposal guide for complete details.

"Regeneration means putting life at the center of every action and decision."

Suggest a Speaker!

Many of our speakers come from suggestions made by the ISS community.

If you have a great idea for a speaker, with us.

Whether you know of a great keynote, session speaker, or workshop leader your ideas can help inform the ISS.

Session Types

Presentations come in several formats, and speakers/presenters may host more than one session type:

  • Speaker sessions: 50 minutes
  • Networking sessions: 50 minutes
  • Workshops: Half or Full day
  • Artists/Performers: Give us a proposal, we will work with you.

Participant Engagement

The ISS is a dynamic and interactive event. We encourage proposals that include innovative formats, which engage attendees on multiple levels, including interactions with fellow participants, hands-on activities and shared experiences, to name a few.

We encourage presenters to engage participants, beyond Q & A, with the addition of artistic or outside-of-the-box elements.
