Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-BSN)

Intended for registered nurses, our Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program (RN to BSN) allows you to capitalize on prior education and experience while moving into the professional nurse realm.

Why Choose our BSN Program?

Upon graduation, you will be prepared for entry into graduate-level nursing educational programs. You may utilize BSN upper division elective credits for completing any necessary prerequisites or other preparation. Our faculty provides a supportive environment with the belief that education is a shared experience between teacher and student.

Requirements

Only RNs have the option of achieving a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Provided you meet admission criteria, you may directly enter the section of the program after graduation from the associate’s degree level. Also, RNs from other associate’s degree or diploma programs, or those who have been out of school, can enter the RN to BSN option. A two-semester upper-division curriculum rounds out the nursing program at this level.

What You Will Learn

BSN courses are guided by specific outcomes and organized to lay a foundation for the holistic practice of professional nursing.
Specifically, courses in this program focus on:

  • Critical thinking skills
  • Complex therapeutic concepts
  • Best practice management principles
  • Utilization of research to guide patient care

Organization and Delivery

The BSN curriculum is designed to be completed in 2 to 3 semesters.
Course instruction is organized and delivered in an online format.

You must be highly motivated and recognize that the online learning portion of the learning process requires commitment, time, and work.
