The 91短视频 Board of Trustees consists of 10 members. The governor of the state appoints eight members, the president of the 91短视频 Alumni Association is the ninth appointee and the president of the 91短视频 Student Association is the tenth. The Board of Trustees have three primary roles: establishing policies, making strategic decisions for the university and overseeing the organization's activity.
Karla K. Bergeson

Karla K. Bergeson
Ogden native and former corporate executive and legal counsel Karla Bergeson was elected chair of the Board of Trustees in 2023 91短视频. She was appointed to the board in 2017 and served as vice-chair since 2021.
Bergeson started her legal career at General Electric’s corporate headquarters in Fairfield, Connecticut before joining Citigroup in New York City. After 23 years in the Citi Cards business, she retired as an executive vice president and deputy general counsel. Before becoming an attorney, she worked for former U.S. Congressman K. Gunn McKay in Washington, D.C. That experience inspired her to get her law degree.
Upon returning home to Utah, Bergeson created an endowment at 91短视频 in her mother's and aunt’s names to support students studying to become teachers. She began serving on 91短视频’s National Advisory Council in 2014 and was recognized with the Lewis W. Shurtliff Award for Contributions to Education in 2015. She was 91短视频’s commencement speaker in April 2017.
Bergeson is a proud graduate of Ogden High School. She received her undergraduate degree in English and law degree from Brigham Young University. She has enjoyed serving on various boards, including the Select Health Board of Trustees. She is an active participant in non-profit organizations that strive to help their local communities.

Keith Titus
Keith Titus, President and CEO of MarketStar, is responsible for leading the company in long-term strategic planning, revenue growth strategies, business innovation, client success, and corporate operations. He was named CEO in January of 2019. Keith is committed to growing an organization where people find purpose, belonging, growth, and space to give back to their communities.
Under Keith’s leadership, MarketStar has evolved into a highly focused and specialized B2B sales as a service provider, launching sales and revenue solutions for some of the biggest and brightest companies in the world.
Keith joined MarketStar after working at Motorola Solutions for eleven years, where he was most recently the Head of Strategy for Global Sales and Field Operations. In addition, he held several other senior operations, sales, and marketing roles during his tenure at Motorola including Chief of Staff to the CEO of Motorola Mobility, Product Marketing and Mergers and Acquisitions. Prior to Motorola, he worked at MarketStar leading several reseller and retail accounts.
Keith earned a Bachelor of Science degree from 91短视频鈥痑nd a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of鈥疷tah.鈥疕e serves on several corporate and community boards, including Next Meters Global,Summit Technology, and Wasatch Equity Partners. He is currently the Vice Chair of 91短视频’s Board of Trustees and has served as a trustee since 2021.
During his time at MarketStar, he has been recognized by Utah Business Magazine with the 2018 CXO Award, Utah State University Huntsman Pro Sales Program with the 2019 Annual Founder's Award, and 91短视频 with a 2019 Distinguished Alumni Award. He has also served as an Honorary Commander with Hill Air Force Base.
Brent Bishop

Brent Bishop
With an educational background in management and finance, Bishop has excelled in business and in the community throughout his career. In 1991 he founded Greenbacks All-a-Dollar, where he served as CEO and was responsible for growing the company from one to one hundred retail stores in 10 states over 12 years. In acknowledgment of Bishop’s role in the success of Greenbacks, Ernst & Young awarded him the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2001. Under Bishop’s leadership, Greenbacks was sold to Dollar Tree in July of 2003. Previous to starting Greenbacks, Bishop was a co-founder of Franklin Covey.
Bishop has a real interest in serving in the community, including serving on several boards related to higher education. In addition, he has served on the Judicial Review Board of the Second District for the State of Utah, and Founder and Chairman of Sharetix foundation. He also contributed to the success of the Salt Lake 2002, Vancouver 2010, and London 2012 Olympics as a volunteer in each.
Bishop earned a bachelor's degree in Business Management and Finance from Brigham Young University.
He has a beautiful and talented wife Jill, ten children, and 37 grandchildren.
Tammy Gallegos

Tammy Gallegos joined the 91短视频 Board of Trustees in 2023 91短视频. Tammy is the Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing and Strategic Engagement Officer at America First Credit Union. In that role, she oversees all of the credit union’s marketing and advertising, member engagement, employee engagement and training, public relations, community outreach and charitable efforts, corporate partnerships, government relations, events, physical facilities, and operations.
Tammy is a proud Weber State alum and native of Weber County, and an active and passionate member of the community. She currently serves as the chair of America First Care-A-Lot employee assistance program, chair of the America First Charitable Foundation, as a member of the boards of Member Loyalty Group and, Utes with Wings, and Ogden CAN Foundation, and as a member of the Utah Royals Executive Committee.
She also attended Western CUNA Management School and was a member of Filene i3 Group. In 2020, she was named CXO of the Year by Utah Business.
Tammy and her husband Eric have been married for 33 years. They live in West Haven and have three sons. In her spare time, she loves being with her family, friends, and three dogs.
Matt Dixon

Matt Dixon
Matt Dixon graduated from 91短视频 in 1998 with a BA in Psychology. The knowledge and experiences he gained in obtaining his degree, benefitted him as he later obtained a Master of Public Administration Degree. In addition to serving on the 91短视频 Alumni Association Board of Directors, Matt also serves on the Board of Directors for Cottages of Hope (a non-profit organization focused on helping to empower people to become financially stable and self-sufficient). Matt has worked in local government administration for more than 27 years and has worked as the city manager of South Ogden City for the past 14 years.
Matt’s love for 91短视频 goes well beyond the education he received there. Matt met and married his wife (Jen) while they both attended Weber State. Matt remembers one of the best days of his life when he and Jen decided they were going to get married while hanging out in the Union Building. When he’s not enjoying time with his wife and four children, he hopes to be found either on a mountain bike, the golf course or fly fishing.
Casey Hill

Casey Hill
Casey Hill worked as Senior Vice President of Government and Community Relations for Energy Solutions until the end of 2018, where he managed and directed all government and community relations and charitable donation efforts for the company in Utah and across the country. In 2019, Hill started his own government relations consulting firm, which grew into one of Utah's most successful government relations firms, Lincoln Hill Partners. In addition to continuing to represent Energy Solutions, he works on behalf of interests in real estate development, environmental protection and remediation, healthcare and pharmaceutical, insurance, energy, local government issues, and numerous other issue areas.
An accomplished political campaign strategist and campaign manager, Hill has personally run the campaigns of many past and current state-level leaders in Utah, including Senate President Stuart Adams and former Speaker of the House Brad Wilson. As this campaign management success grew over the last decade and a half, Hill started Election Hive and Gather Inc,. which are now the unquestioned leaders in Utah election politics in their respective areas of campaign management and ballot access through signature gathering.
Hill holds a bachelor of science in History with a focus in Political Science from 91短视频 and an MBA from the Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. His wife Kysha is also a Weber State graduate in English with a masters degree in Social Work from the University of Utah. They have five children.
Monet Maggelet

Monet Maggelet
Monet Maggelet, appointed to the Board of Trustees of 91短视频 in 2023 91短视频, is an educator and a dedicated advocate for nonprofits. As a program officer and board member for Call to Action Foundation and Call Foundation, she focuses on identifying and building relationships with grant partners, particularly in the education sector.
Maggelet earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Westminster University, where she also pursued minors in Teaching English as a Second Language and History. She taught fifth grade for three years before transitioning to teaching first grade for an additional year.
Driven by a desire to empower students and promote a positive learning environment, Maggelet pursued graduate-level endorsements in K-12 reading and K-8 mathematics. Additionally, she is trained in restorative justice and trauma-informed practices, further enhancing her ability to create a safe and nurturing space for all her students.
Maggelet is an active member of the Utah community, serving on the board of directors for the YWCA Utah and sharing her time with many other nonprofits in a variety of roles.
Maggelet is a true advocate for education and a passionate champion of nonprofit causes. Through her work, Maggelet continues to make a lasting difference, touching the lives of students, educators, and communities at large.
Lori Belnap Pehrson

Lori Belnap Pehrson
Lori Belnap Pehrson, appointed to the 91短视频 Board of Trustees in 2023 91短视频, is an accomplished aerospace executive, the matriarch of her beloved family, an active, service-oriented member of her faith community, and a trusted board member of multiple non-profit organizations. Her personal and professional experiences, including her time at 91短视频, have shaped her into a lifelong champion of higher education and a strong advocate for the student-focused approach embraced at 91短视频.Ms. Pehrson has served on multiple 91短视频 industry advisory boards and was appointed to the National Advisory Council in 2020. She was honored as an outstanding 91短视频 alumnus in 2021.
Ms. Pehrson's commitment to education is deeply rooted in her family background. She comes from a family of educators and has sought to honor her late father, Dr. F.A. “Bud” Belnap, a former 91短视频 professor and football coach, by creating a perpetual 91短视频 scholarship in his name.
Ms. Pehrson retired from Northrop Grumman in 2021 after a 35-year career. Her work was instrumental in capturing some of the largest development and sustainment contracts for her company in the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) domain. Ms. Pehrson began her career as a software developer working in increasingly responsible roles, culminating in overseeing the $13B ICBM Prime Integration Contract as Director and Program Manager. In addition, Ms. Pehrson served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for a large-scale management and operations contract for radioactive waste management disposal efforts for the Department of Energy.
Ms. Pehrson is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others as a leader and mentor in our community. She has experience in leadership, program management, mentoring, team building, subcontract management, and professional speaking. She served on the Utah Governor's Economic Development Coordinating Council from 2019 to 2020 and the Utah Aerospace Council.
Emily Sorenson

Emily Sorenson
Emily Sorenson is from Logan, Utah. She is a recent dual graduate from 91短视频 with a bachelors in Accounting and Finance and is currently in the Masters of Business Administration program at Weber State. She loves serving the student body of Weber State as the Student Body President. She has a passion for helping others succeed while ensuring they have a safe place to go to when things get hard. Emily loves to travel and has recently had the opportunities to study abroad in places like Rome, Japan, and South Korea. When the sun’s out Emily can be found outside on her paddleboard or taking care of her house plants.
Donald J. Salazar

Donald J. Salazar
Donald J. Salazar, president and CEO of an Ogden-based design-build construction company, Creative Times Inc., joined 91短视频's Board of Trustees in 2017.
In his leadership role, Salazar oversees all management activities, including accounting, business planning, finance, marketing, resource allocation, contract negation and on-site job performance. He has successfully performed on contracts ranging from $200,000 to $34 million.
Salazar has been active in many organizations on national and local levels. He currently serves as chair of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. With 4.3 million members, the chamber is the largest Hispanic business organization in the nation. He also serves as an advisory board member of the Utah Hispanic Chamber and Zions Bank, and he previously served as chair of the Ogden Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He is also a past president of the Northern Utah Public Employees Association.
At Weber State, Salazar serves on the National Advisory Council and is a past member of the Arts and Humanities Advisory Council (AHA!). He has served on many other boards throughout the community in the sectors of health, finance, environment and legislation. Salazar graduated from Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business and also holds a Master of Arts.
