Independent Study Application Process

Prerequisites

Step 1: Apply to 91¶ÌÊÓƵ

Apply for admission to 91¶ÌÊÓƵ

Step 2: ARRT Certification and General Education

  • Applicants must be certified to apply.
  • We highly suggest that you complete an AA or AS before your independent study coursework. While not required for admission into the program, a previous AA, AS, or bachelor's degree will fulfill 91¶ÌÊÓƵ's general education requirements for a bachelor's degree. AAS degrees typically do not fulfill all the necessary general education requirements.

Step 3: Review Your Transfer Credits

The Independent Study program is an online option for previously-certified technologists who are working full-time in their advanced modality.

Applicants must have at least an AAS degree from a regionally-accredited institution to be eligible to apply. Contact the 91¶ÌÊÓƵ 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Office before applying at (801) 626-6743 to find out if your previous credit will transfer. If your previous credit does not transfer, you are not eligible for the Independent Study program.

Please contact Pamela Berg at (801) 626-6619 before submitting an application if you have any questions.
